Years ago , Coimbatore Krishna Vadhyar worked up a culinary revolution in the South Indian marriage mela. The concept of contract on marriage emerged, ushering in an era of hassle free weddings. In 1986,a cohort of his admirers, strongly mentored and disciplined by him, came together to form Friends Catering, Over the years, we have catered close to a lakh+ events (38 years and counting) making us one of the grand old caterers of Coimbatore.

Drawing upon our rich experience in the food industry and taking a cue from the response we got for our annual Diwali Sweet Mela, “Friends Sweets and Savouries” was launched, in 2018, an exclusive takeaway outlet for sweets, snacks, savouries, and traditional South Indian dishes.
The overwhelming response from our customers and their unwavering loyalty encouraged us to establish Friends Restaurant in 2023, where patrons can savor a wide variety of cuisines on a modest budget prepared under stringent hygienic conditions.
